A handcrafted and personalized ceramic slow-bowl for your furry little pet. This new version of my slow bowl is designed with a paw inside to help slow down your pet when eating. Thrown on the potters wheel and carefully stamped with their name or initials. Make sure to indicate the name/text upon purchase.
Slow bowls help your pet eat slower so they can digest their food better. When a dog (or cat) eats too quickly, it can cause a number of health problems. For starters, gulping down a meal can lead to vomiting or choking. Over the long run, your pet could suffer from gastric bloat, and could also become malnourished as eating too quickly will not allow your pet to properly digest the nutrients they need. The problem with other dog bowls is that most are made of cheap metal which slowly rust, or they're made of plastic which are extremely harmful even if they are "BPA-free" (see article: http://time.com/3742871/bpa-free-health)
These ceramic bowls are non-toxic, rust-free and dishwasher safe. For colors, you can choose from porcelain white, orange, dark blue or lime green for the inside of the bowl. Choose from the following sizes:
For cats: Approx 4 inches in diameter X 1.5 inches tall
For small dogs: Approx 5 inches in diameter X 2 inches tall
For medium-sized dogs: Approx 6 inches in diameter X 2.5 inches tall
For large dogs: Approx 7 inches in diameter X 3 inches tall
For extra large dogs: Approx 8 inches in diameter X 3 inches tall
Please note that as this is a custom order and it will take 4-6 weeks to create and process. Once the bowl is finished and out of the kiln, I package and ship PRIORITY on the same day, so that it arrives to you within 1-2 days.
